Reed & Mackay Events Appoints Pauline Houston as Global Managing Director

LONDON, 01 August 2024 – Reed & Mackay, a global leader in corporate travel and event management, is delighted to announce the appointment of Pauline Houston to the newly created position of Global Managing Director of Reed & Mackay Events.

The creation of the role and Pauline’s appointment demonstrates the company’s continued investment into their award-winning Events division and follows the recent additions of James Kent as Head of Growth and Emma Chamberlain as Commercial Director to work alongside Global Director of Events, Mandy Warwick.

With a career spanning over 25 years in business travel, meetings and events, Pauline has had global roles leading sales and supplier management, operations and product development with American Express and CWT, and has worked with top FTSE 250 and Fortune 500 companies. Pauline brings extensive commercial and international growth development experience to her new role and will help to continue to promote the global growth strategy that is already well underway and set to continue at Reed & Mackay.

A major player in corporate travel management and events, Pauline has worked with industry organisations including the ITM, Women in Travel and GBTA. Currently Pauline is the Chair of the EMEA Chapter of WINiT.

Their sustained global growth has also seen appointments of Jose Antonio Ruiz as Deputy Director of Events, Spain; Karin Liberg as Senior Director Events & Business Development, Nordics; and Barbara Labrit as Head of Events in France.
