7 of the best event venues in London

Some of the best event venues in the world are in London. Event technology provider Cvent – who Reed & Mackay partners with – recently named England’s capital as its top meeting destination in Europe.

Whether you’re looking to book somewhere for corporate events, venues for conferences, parties or meetings, or private dining rooms, there’s an abundance to choose from. Historic, contemporary, quirky, opulent or minimalist, there’s a perfect venue to suit every style of event in London.

We asked our team of experts, with their extensive knowledge of event planning, to highlight just a few of the many great spaces in London and why they think they work well for events.

30 Euston Square

Event planners will find a 300-seat auditorium, among other meeting rooms, at this venue

“30 Euston Square is a superb venue. Plus it’s conveniently located near three major train stations – King’s Cross, St Pancras International and Euston.” Reed & Mackay Venue Find Specialist Jackie Daniels

The venue, built in a Greek Revival architectural style, may be Grade II-listed but it serves contemporary meetings and events. Event planners will find a 300-seat auditorium, contemporary and heritage meeting rooms, and an assessment and scenario-based learning centre. It also boasts private dining areas and two state rooms with an adjacent rooftop terrace. https://30eustonsquare.co.uk

If you’re looking to book something different, Two Temple Place is an unforgettable venue. Although not open to the public all year round, it’s great to book for dinners, drinks receptions and also day meetings. This venue is popular for filming and it’s centrally located.” Reed & Mackay Events Housing Specialist Andrea Holt

Described as a hidden gem on Victoria Embankment, the neo-Gothic Two Temple Place was commissioned by, and built for, multi-millionaire William Waldorf Astor at the close of the 19th century. The lavish and stunning interiors make it a special venue for a bespoke event. It’s unique Grand Hall is ideal for dinners. Elsewhere, pre-dinner drinks can be served in its Lower Gallery alongside a talk on the building’s history by one of its tour guides. https://twotempleplace.org
