Discover the lowdown on what you\u2019ll need to know if you are responsible for managed travel programmes.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Directiva sobre informes de sostenibilidad de las empresas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>As we head towards the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/climatechange\/net-zero-coalition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UN\u2019s Net Zero 2050 target<\/a>, companies around the world can expect more sustainability regulations coming in over the next few years.<\/p>\n\n<p>A wider set of companies will need to report on their sustainability targets. This is due to the <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.ec.europa.eu\/capital-markets-union-and-financial-markets\/company-reporting-and-auditing\/company-reporting\/corporate-sustainability-reporting_en\">Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive<\/a> (CSRD). European Union law will require more companies to \u2018disclose information on what they see as the risks and opportunities arising from social and environmental issues and on the impact of their activities on people and the environment\u2019.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQui\u00e9n tiene que informar?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/news\/en\/press-room\/20250331IPR27557\/sustainability-and-due-diligence-meps-agree-to-delay-application-of-new-rules\">As of the start of April, the European Parliament said there would be delay to the rollout of this sustainability reporting as part of a simplification package<\/a>. Companies that were in the first wave of businesses required to report now have until July 2027 to do so.<\/p>\n\n<p>Furthermore, EU companies with more than 5,000 employees and net turnover higher than \u20ac1.5 billion, will now have until 2028 to comply. This will also apply to non-EU companies with a turnover above this threshold in the EU, including businesses that have headquarters in the UK but do business in the EU. Small and medium-sized businesses will be now required to submit sustainability reporting in 2029.<\/p>\n\n<p>These delays are a result of the EU&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/news\/commission-proposes-cut-red-tape-and-simplify-business-environment-2025-02-26_en\">\u2018Omnibus Simplification\u2019 package<\/a>. Then organisations can use data to build and manage purposeful travel programmes.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>EES\/ETIAS<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>You may have heard these acronyms for some time now and wondering when they\u2019ll come into play. <a href=\"https:\/\/url.uk.m.mimecastprotect.com\/s\/uk70Cwj6yuYPKMyhjslUJfJV7?domain=travel-europe.europa.eu\">The EU has revised its timeline<\/a> for the Entry\/Exit System (EES) and the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS).<br \/><br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.businesstravelnewseurope.com\/Management\/EU-names-date-for-launch-of-much-delayed-Entry-Exit-System\">The EU\u2019s Entry\/Exit System (EES) and the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is expected to start operating on 12 October 2025, with ETIAS following in the last quarter of 2026<\/a>, according to\u00a0<em>Business Travel News Europe<\/em>. <br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>El SES es un sistema inform\u00e1tico automatizado que recoge datos biom\u00e9tricos.
